Long time members of the OARC will remember Ernie Brown, who was an active member of the club years ago, before moving back out west to be with family. His club talks about his wartime service both on merchant ships and as a RDF operator in Ottawa were greatly appreciated.

December 30, 2017 is the 2017 RAC Winter Contest. We will be running a station at the Diefenbunker 10m below ground! Talk to VE3TLY if you want to particpate.

The Tall Pines Rally is running out of Bancroft November 25,26 and they are looking for ham radio operators. Contact Mike VE3FFK for details.

We are putting together a tour of the Diefenbunker museum To take place on a Tuesday evening in the near future. Contact Margaret VA3VXN if interested.
